Dear Church Family,

It is nice to be writing to you in an environment of easing restrictions.

While Victorian restrictions are improving, we are preparing to open up our policy on church gatherings in cases where government restrictions allow. This has involved outlining processes and guidelines for the use of church buildings, as well as information for those running gatherings on how and when they can be organised.

Jim Langdon, as the KSBC Covid-19 Safety Officer, is working with the Leadership and staff at KSBC to ensure that what we do together at church is in a responsible, safe and God honouring manner. Any Covid-19 safety issues should be directed to Jim in the first instance on 0413 130 825.

KSBC guidelines for hosting gatherings in homes will be circulated as restrictions ease. Currently we are limited to one visit per day from up to 2 adults plus children in Melbourne – so there will be no formal KSBC gatherings organised at people’s homes at this stage.

However, people are able to gather in groups of no more than 10 in public outdoor spaces (not on private property) – and should you wish to organise a church social gathering in compliance with the current restrictions you may do so.

Use of the church building is still closed for bookings - but this will be updated as processes come online and restrictions continue to ease. All those attending the church building for whatever reason need to sign in. There is an online check in option available on our website.

I hope to write again shortly with further updates!

In Christ,
Daniel Harrison
Church Secretary
